-Rapper Young Jeezy To Pay Edaz Redden For Swiping Almost Entire Track

In 2015, Edaz Redden sued Jeezy for stealing his track "I Ball I Stunt", which he had copyrighted.

A slightly different track titled "I Ball I Stunt" -- which featured Jeezy's then-artist Scrilla -- appeared on Jeezy's 2011 mixtape The Real Is Back.

In addition to the same title, Redden alleges the composition and the chorus were the same.

Redden also tied his track to Jeezy by telling the court that he shopped its demo around to artists in 2010. While doing so he gave a copy to somebody named Kyle Smith, who is close with  Scrilla.

Jeezy never showed up in court to fight the case, and a judge just awarded Redden $111,347.29 for Jeeyz's use of "I Ball I Stunt".

Jeezy tried to get out of paying by claiming he was never served. But that didn't work and Redden will soon be $111,347.29 richer.
